How do I refer a patient for imaging?

Will we still send orders to the imaging center we use now?
Yes. The imaging center you use now stays the default. Other centers are shown only when yours can't do the exam, or when you don't have one yet.
What happens if the order is missing something?
You're told right away, with what and why: clinical notes, an authorization or more information. You answer or upload in the portal. The authorization and clinical notes an order needs are gathered for the office instead of being sent back to it.
Can we see where an order stands without calling the center?
Yes. Every order's status is in the portal in real time: received, pending, needs information before it can be booked or completed, authorized, booked, completed.
When do we get the report and the images?
The finished report and the images for your patient are in the portal the minute the read is signed. Offices not on the portal get the signed report by fax.
Does Gravity read the images?
No. We don't read the scan. We make sure it gets back. The radiologist reads the exam, and Gravity delivers the signed report and the images to your office.
